The mandate also states that all essential crew members who have contact with the actors on set will also need to be vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Production teams and their partners have been informed by the streaming service that it will be requiring vaccinations for everyone working in &#8220;Zone A.&#8221; The zone refers to the actors and those crew members who come into close proximity to them on set.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Some exceptions to Netflix&#8217;s vaccine mandate will be made, but they&#8217;ll be limited to medical, religious or age reasons.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> online pharmacy <a href=\"https:\/\/beautybeforeage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/png\/priligy.html\">priligy over the counter<\/a> with best prices today in the USA <\/div>\n<p> Some exceptions will also be considered in a few cases for television series and movies that are already in production. The streaming platform&#8217;s mandatory vaccination policy is the strongest measure it can enforce under the current return-to-work protocols.<\/p>\n<p>The streaming platform is closely following the recently updated return-to-work protocols agreed upon by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, as well as the film and television industry&#8217;s top unions and guilds, including SAG-AFTRA, IATSE, the DGA and the Teamsters, and major studios. The protocols state that Hollywood may mandate vaccinations in Zone A on a project-by-project basis, and productions can ease current protocols for fully vaccinated cast and crew.<\/p>\n<div class=\"a-article-grid__main pmc-a-grid pmc-a-cols3@desktop\">\n<article class=\"pmc-a-grid-item pmc-a-span2@desktop u-max-width-100p\">\n<div class=\"a-content pmc-u-line-height-copy pmc-u-font-family-georgia pmc-u-font-size-16 pmc-u-font-size-18@desktop\">\n<p>The vaccine mandate on Netflix productions comes after the Writers Guild of America&#8217;s recommendation that filmmakers who attend in-person writers rooms be fully vaccinated. The guild also suggested that scribes should be allowed to work remotely if they&#8217;re not vaccinated, even if their room is operating in-person on site.<\/p>\n<p>The streaming service&#8217;s decision also comes after two-time Oscar-winning actor, Sean Penn stated that he won&#8217;t return to work on his upcoming Starz political thriller television series, <strong><em>Gaslit<\/em><\/strong>, until everyone on the production has been vaccinated.
