The drama, which will be based on multiple works written by Edgar Allan Poe, including the 1893 short story of the same name, will feature themes of madness, family, isolation and identity, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/10\/mike-flanagan-sets-edgar-allan-poe-inspired-limited-series-the-fall-of-the-house-of-usher-at-netflix-1234850599\/\">Deadline<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Flanagan, who&#8217;s mainly known for creating the hit supernatural anthology series, <strong><em>The Haunting<\/em><\/strong><em>,<\/em> for the streaming service, also created the <strong><em>The Fall of the House of Usher<\/em><\/strong> adaptation.
