Shooting movies is a family affair for Jeff Cronenweth, an Oscar-nominated cinematographer whose late father, Jordan, was also a director of photography, best known for Blade Runner<\/em><\/strong> and Peggy Sue Got Married<\/em><\/strong>. Jeff started his career with music videos in the 1990s and in the second unit and camera department for David Fincher\u2019s films Se7en<\/em><\/strong> and The Game<\/em><\/strong>. His first feature as director of photography was Fight Club<\/em><\/strong>, and he worked with Fincher on three more films, two of which earned him Oscar nominations: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo<\/em><\/strong> and The Social Network<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The latter film was also his first experience working with Aaron Sorkin, who was on set as the writer of that film. Sorkin and Chenoweth collaborated on Being the Ricardos<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, which showcases one intense week in the lives of married acting couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. I had the chance to speak to Chenoweth about his relationship to the original I Love Lucy<\/em><\/strong>, technology today, watching films at home, and working with auteurs like Sorkin and Fincher.<\/p>\n
