The 25 central James Bond<\/em><\/strong><\/a> movie will make their streaming service debut on April 15 on Amazon Prime Video. However, the films will only be available on the streamer for a limited time, Empire<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n

Amazon decided to stream the movies after it acquired one of the series’ production companies, MGM. The James Bond<\/em><\/strong> franchise will join other popular MGM film series that are set to stream on Prime Video, including Rocky<\/em><\/strong> and Robocop<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The only entries in the James Bond<\/strong><\/em> franchise that won’t be streaming on Prime Video are 1967’s Casino Royale<\/em><\/strong> and 1983’s Never Say Never Again<\/em><\/strong>. They were excluded from the deal because they weren’t produced by Eon, which serves as the series’ other production company.<\/p>\n

The full list of James Bond<\/strong><\/em> movies that can be streamed on Prime Video starting next week are: Dr. No<\/strong><\/em>, From Russia With Love<\/strong><\/em>, Goldfinger<\/strong><\/em>, Thunderball<\/strong><\/em>, You Only Live Twice<\/strong><\/em>, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service<\/em><\/strong>, Diamonds Are Forever<\/em><\/strong>, Live and Let Die<\/em><\/strong>, The Man with the Golden Gun<\/em><\/strong>, The Spy Who Loved Me<\/strong><\/em>, Moonraker<\/strong><\/em>, For Your Eyes Only<\/em><\/strong>, Octopussy<\/strong><\/em>, A View to a Kill<\/strong><\/em>, The Living Daylights<\/em><\/strong>, Licence to Kill<\/strong><\/em>, GoldenEye<\/strong><\/em>, Tomorrow Never Dies<\/em><\/strong>, The World is Not Enough<\/strong><\/em>, Die Another Day<\/em><\/strong>, Casino Royale<\/strong><\/em>, Quantum of Solace<\/strong><\/em>, Skyfall<\/em><\/strong>, Spectre<\/em><\/strong> and No <\/em>Time to Die<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amazon completed its purchase of MGM in an $8.5 billion deal last month. The deal effectively gives Amazon the rights of the entire James Bond<\/em><\/strong> catalog. So when the deal was made, it was assumed that Prime Video would become the franchise’s streaming home.<\/p>\n

James Bond<\/em><\/strong> is one of the most enduring franchises in cinema history, spanning 60 years and earning nearly $8 billion at the international box office. Even though Daniel Craig decided to retire from the role after No Time to Die<\/strong><\/em> was released in theaters last fall, the series will continue with a new actor, as it always has. Despite the franchise’s past films playing on Prime Video for a limited time starting next week, future features are set to remain theatrical events.<\/p>\n

Plus, Amazon is also making a television series about the British Secret Service agent. Prime Video has green lit 007’s Road to a Million<\/strong><\/em>, a competition reality show inspired by the franchise.<\/p>\n
