Eddie Murphy\u00a0is expected to reprise his role as Axel Foley, with Netflix on board, Jerry Bruckheimer is back to produce and Will Beal penned the script, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/04\/beverly-hills-cop-4-mark-molloy-netflix-1234997041\/\">Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Molloy will replace directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who stepped away to focus on the Warner Bros pic <i>Batgirl, <\/i>which recently wrapped production and is set to bow on HBO Max. Insiders add <i><strong>Beverly Hills Cop 4<\/strong> <\/i>is still in development and no production start date has been set.<\/p>\n<p>The beloved original <b>Beverly Hills Cop<\/b> released in 1984 and starred Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a cop from Detroit who visits Beverly Hills, California to solve the murder of his best friend.
