Watch Amazon MGM Studios’ distribution of “Mercy,” a sci-fi crime thriller with a ‘First Look’ Behind-the-Scesces Featurette. Follow a man’s journey to convince a super-intelligent AI judge of his innocence in the death of his wife in Mercy, in theaters on January 23, 2026.

A detective (Chris Prattwill) will face charges of murdering his wife in the near future. The advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) (who he once championed) will determine his weight after he proves his innocence in 90 minutes.

The sci-fi thriller is directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and also stars Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers.

Amazon MGM Studios will release Mercy in theaters on January 23, 2026.
