The theatrical release of “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina“, which stars Ana de Armas, will be coming up in a few weeks. Lionsgate has released a final trailer to pique the interest of the audience for what is expected to be a fiery, action-packed addition to the immensely successful franchise.

Latest film is chronologically taking place during the events of “John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum“. As previously reported, Parabellum found Wick declared excommunicado from the High Table for killing crime lord Santino D’Antonio on the grounds of the Continental. Despite facing a bounty on his head, he manages to reach the Ruska Roma crime syndicate’s headquarters, which is headed by the Director (Anjelica Huston).

Young girls are trained by the director to be ballerina-assassins, and Unity Phelan plays a young ballerina during the scene, De Armas is now playing Eve Macarro, the principal character of Ballerina.

Huston returns as the director, Ian McShane plays Winston, and Lance Reddick plays the Continental concierge, Charon for the last time (posthumously). The new cast includes Gabriel Byrne as the Chancellor, the main villain who leads an entire town in opposition to Eve; Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Nogi, Eve’s teacher; Norman Reedus as Daniel Pine; and Catalina Sandino Moreno and David Castaneda in unspecified roles.

The film is Directed by Len Wiseman, Written by Shay Hatten Based on Characters by Derek Kolstad, Produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Chad Stahelski.

Eve chose to train with the Ruska Roma in hope of avenging her father’s brutal death after being orphaned and the first trailer was released in September. This final trailer opens with Eve looking up while directly in Wick’s crosshairs. Much of the ensuing footage isn’t new, but it does show de Armas to her best deadly advantage as she takes on combatant after combatant in true John Wick style. Her vow: “This isn’t done until they’re dead.”

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” will hit theaters on June 6.
