A Quiet Place: Day One: Exclusive Video Interview with Director Michael Sarnoski

Check out more of CinemaDaily US’ video interviews on our YouTube channel

In 2021, Michael Sarnoski directed the Nicolas Cage thriller, Pig, and he’s back now with the sci-fi thriller, A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel to the blockbuster John Krasinski movies from 2018 and 2021.

A Quiet Place: Day One stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) as Samira, a young woman on a field trip into New York City with her support cat, just as aliens land and begin to attack anything that makes a sound. Eventually, Samira encounters Joseph Quinn’s Eric, a British businessman, and the two of them travel across the city on a mission, along with Samira’s cat. The film also stars Djimon Hounsou (whose character first appeared in A Quiet Place Part II) and Alex Wolff

Cinema Daily US spoke with Sarnoski over Zoom last week, an interview you can watch in the video player above.
