Actress Susan Park, best known for her performances in television series like Fargo, Vice Principals, Snowpiercer, and High Desert, makes her directorial debut with Lucy & Sara, an offbeat TV series screening in the Independent TV Pilot Competition at the SXSW Film & TV Festival. In just seven minutes, Park, who was a writer on the Starz series Blindspotting, manages to create something utterly bizarre and compelling that will leave audiences salivating for additional episodes.
I had the chance to speak with Park about her past performances and the inspirations for this series, as well as what went into making the pilot and what she already has written (and filmed).

Series summary:
Lucy and Sara are sisters. They’re what some people might call recluse. They’ve been putting up with each other by the skin of their teeth for years. But with the passing of their father, things must change whether they like it or not.
