New photos from the wedding and videos from the honeymoon of Korean actress Son Ye-jin and actor Hyun Bin have been released on social media. The Crash Landing on You stars have been sharing the footage from their marital celebration after they wed in a ceremony on March 31 in South Korea’s capital of Seoul, Newsweek is reporting.
The couple is seen wearing two different outfits in the four new images from the ceremony, which the Korean media is referring to as the wedding of the century. The pictures were released by Hyun’s agency, VAST Entertainment, on Instagram.
In two of the photos, Son, 40, wore a white wedding dress with an off-the-shoulder lace bodice design. Hyun, 39, meanwhile, is dressed in a classic formal black tuxedo with a bowtie.
In the two other images, the bride wore a long olive green dress with lace detailing. Meanwhile, the groom was dressed in a dark gray suit with a cream-toned tie.
The couple was pictured holding hands under a flower canopy in one image. In another image, the new spouses are seen walking down an aisle lined by flowers, with Son holding onto Hyun’s arm. The couple’s photos were taken at the Aston House venue of the Grand Walkerhill hotel, where the ceremony was held.
The agency captioned its Instagram post of the pictures by saying: “With your cheers and blessings, actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin concluded their wedding ceremony on March 31. Thank you again for all of your support.”
Following their wedding ceremony, the couple landed at the international airport in Los Angeles on April 11 for their honeymoon. Videos and photos of their arrival in the U.S. are also being posted on Instagram.
In one video, the couple is waiting for their luggage at the conveyance belt. In another video, Hyun is seen pulling Son away from the road, as a shuttle bus passes by.
Son and Hyun first worked together in the 2018 Korean action film, The Negotiation. The following year, the duo garnered more fame for playing lovers on the hit Netflix Korean drama television series, Crash Landing on You. The show followed Son’s character, Yoon Se-ri, a South Korean business executive who falls in love with Hyun’s character, the dashing North Korean soldier, Ri Jeong-hyeok.
After denying romance rumors for years, the pair recently confirmed they’d been dating for since March 2020. The couple announced their engagement this past February, when Hyun stated: “I’ve found someone I can spend the rest of my life with I promised to walk together with her – who always makes me smile – through the days ahead.”
