2025 Oscar Nominations Announced : Full List!

The 2025 Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday. Emilia Pérezreceived the most of 2025 Oscar nominations. The film garnered 13 noms, setting a record for a non-English-language film. That surpasses the previous record holders, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Roma“, which each earned 10 nominations.

Following Jaques Audiard’s latest film, “The Brutalistand “Wicked,” they both tied with 10 noms apiece. “A Complete Unknownand “Conclave scored eight nods each.

All five of those films will compete for best picture with “Anora,” “Dune: Part Two,” “I’m Still Here,” “Nickel BoysandThe Substance.” Director Coralie Fargeat was the only famale director to received the best director category.

For the International feature, “I’m Still Here” star Fernanda Torres repeated her mother Fernanda Montenegro’s historic achievement from 1999 (for “Central Station) becoming only the second Brazilian to be nominated in the best actress category.

The announcement of the 2025 Academy Awards nominees, originally set for Friday, Jan. 17, was delayed twice amid the Los Angeles wildfires, which have left at least 28 people dead with more than 14,000 structures destroyed and nearly 40,000 acres burned.

The Academy has also donated 1 million to the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s wildfire relief efforts.  The 97th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brian, will air live on Sunday, March 2, from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
