Blake Lively is asking for one more simple favor.

In a teaser trailer for Prime Video’s sequel to the 2018 film “A Simple Favor“, Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) are seen together on the picturesque island of Capri, Italy, where Emily is getting married to a wealthy Italian businessman, as stated in the official synopsis. And who is the unlikely maid of honor for Emily? Stephanie, of course!

In addition to Kendrick and Lively, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannels, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack each reprise their roles. The film is written by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis and directed by Paul Feig.

Paul also produced the film along with Laura Fischer, in addition to executive produce by  Jennifer Booth, Jessica Sharzer, Marco Valerio Pugini.

Director Feig, who has spoken out in support of Lively amid her ongoing It Ends With Us legal battle, recently said in an X post that “Blake and Anna turn in amazing performances. I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
