Danny and Michael Philippou, the filmmakers behind “Talk to Me“, were quick to begin their next film after making it one of the biggest Sundance breakout stories in recent years. Sally Hawkins, who chose not to take part in the latest Paddington, is prepared for some visceral horror as she directs Bring Her Back, which will include breakout performances from Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, and Jonah Wren Phillips

A24 is bringing back brother Danny and Michael Philippou for “Bring Her Back“, and the official teaser trailer has been released.

Here’s the synopsis of the film : “A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.” This also won’t be the only A24 project from the brothers as they are working on a “Talk to Me“ sequel as well as a documentary which draws from their own adventures in the world of international underground deathmatch wrestling.

“Talk to Me” was a huge hit for A24 in 2022, the film scaring up $92 million at the worldwide box office and earning the Philippou brothers rave reviews for their feature debut. The Australian duo got their start with the popular YouTube channel RackaRacka, launched back in 2013.

A24 will release the film in theaters on May 30, 2025.
