Amazon Prime Video has released a final trailer for Patricia Riggen’s action drama “G20“, which features Viola Davis as the president of the United States.
In the film, the G20 summit is under attack and U.S. President Danielle Sutton (Davis) is the primary target. She needs to utilize her military experience to end the siege, outsmart the enemy, protect her family, defend her country, and safeguard world leaders while evading capture. The leader of the terrorists is played by Antony Starr, who uses his native New Zealand accent for the role.
The film also stars Ramón Rodríguez, Marsai Martin, Angela Sarafyan, Elizabeth Marvel, Clark Gregg, Douglas Hodge, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar, John Hoogenakker, MeeWha Alana Lee, Theo Bongani Ndyalvane, Conrad Kemp, Joseph Steven Yang, Emmanuel Castis, David James, Noxolo Dlamini, and Gideon Emery.
Noah and Logan Miller penned the script with revisions from Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss. Davis Tennon, Julius Tennon and Andrew Lazar produce.
US President Trump’s tariffs have caused a reassessment of global relationships between the US and other countries, which makes this film particularly relevant at this time.
“G20” will premiere directly on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday.
