Apple TV has released the official trailer for “Margo’s Got Money Troubles“, a new series that will be adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name released by A24.
The official synopsis reads : “The series is a bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo, the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress and ex-pro wrestler, as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills, and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.”
The trailer introduces its main cast, led by Emmy nominee Elle Fanning, Academy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, Emmy Award winner Nick Offerman, and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. The series also stars Thaddea Graham, Greg Kinnear, Marcia Gay Harden, Michael Angarano, Lindsey Normington, Rico Nasty, and Michael Workéyè.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is written and executive-produced by David E. Kelley, who previously worked with the streamer on the acclaimed series Presumed Innocent.
The show is executive-produced by Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures; Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films; and Matthew Tinker for David E. Kelley Productions, along with Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson, Boo Killebrew, and Dearbhla Walsh.
The eight-episode Apple Original series will premiere globally on Wednesday April 15, 2026 with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 20, 2026.
