Netflix has released a fresh One Piece Season 2 video for the eagerly anticipated next installment of the well-known live-action fantasy series. Iñaki Godoy, the leading character, interviews the beloved mangaka Eiichiro Oda in Japanese for the first time since he began learning the language earlier this year.

The video depicts Oda’s excursion to the live-action set of Season 2 in Cape Town, South Africa, where he had the opportunity to meet the cast, witness the massive sets, and observe the scenes for the first time. Oda spoke to Godoy about his admiration for the cast and crew’s dedication to bringing his masterpiece to life. He spoke about the challenging journey that the Straw Hats will have to face in Season 2

One Piece Season 2 will once again be led by Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. It hails from writers and executive producers Steven Maeda (The X-Files) and Matt Owens (Agents of SHIELD), with Owens and Joe Tracz set as the showrunners for Season 2.

Season 2 will introduce Joe Manganiello as Crocodile/Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday/ Nico Robin, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/ Princess Vivi, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Brendan Murray as Brogy, Clive Russell as Crocus, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk. The next installment will also feature returning cast members Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
