A new trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” has been released by Nintendo, Universal Pictures, and Illumination, which is the sequel to 2023’s ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’.
The new trailer emphasizes Yoshi’s initial appearance in the film, with a more detailed view of that scene. A montage of scenes follows and confirms the presence of Birdo, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi in the film.
In April 2023, the first film was released and it went on to earn $1.361 billion worldwide. It was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2023, the third-highest-grossing animated movie of all time, and the 8th-highest-grossing movie of all time.
The Mario character’s 40th anniversary is being celebrated with the new film featuring Chris Pratt (Mario), Charlie Day (Luigi), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Jack Black (Bolt), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek). All characters have been confirmed to return.
Brie Larson has been confirmed to voice Rosalina and Benny Safdie to portray Bowser Jr. The new film will be based on the ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ game narrative, but there will be surprises for Mario fans of all eras.
Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are returning as directors, and Brian Tyler is tasked with producing the soundtrack, which will combine musical elements from the games.
