Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton have been leading the Netflix production of “Apex“, and the first trailer has been released.
Sasha（played by Charlize Theron）, a rock climber and adrenaline addict, discovers that nature isn’t the only dangerous factor that can wreak havoc on her when she sets out on her own in the treacherous Australian bush. In a deadly game, Egerton portrays a ruthless psychopath who has targeted the woman.
The majority of the dialogue in the teaser is delivered by Egerton, who appears to be attempting to do an Australian accent.
Baltasar Kormákur, best known for his work on films like “2 Guns,” “Everest,” “Contraband” and “The Deep,” directs while Jeremy Robbins wrote the script.
The film was shot in New South Wales and was produced by Theron, Dawn Olmstead, Beth Kono, AJ Dix, Ian Bryce, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and David Ready.
Apex is set to release on Netflix on April 24th.
