Wood Entertainment released a trailer for “Tim Burton: Life in the Line,” a four-part docuseries that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last June.
The premiere date for the title is October 23rd, and the company will distribute it through a custom direct-to-consumer streaming platform via timburtonlifeintheline.com.
All four episodes will cost $24.99 for a five-day rental. The standard release is available for purchase at $39.99, and the premium release is available for purchase at $74.99, which includes hours of bonus content.
The film, directed by Tara Wood (“21 Years: Richard Linklater“), combines rare footage, interviews, and artwork to cover the celebrated filmmaker. Tim Burton’s early career led to the making of films like “Batman,” “Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Ed Wood,” “Corpse Bride,” “Dumbo,” and more.
For this project, Some of Tim’s collaborator interviews were conducted with actors such as Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Keaton, Danny Elfman, Jenna Ortega, Christoph Waltz, Mia Wasikowska, and more.
