SR Socially Relevant™ Film Festival New York – 8th edition online – March 15-21, 2021
SRFF was founded in 2013 by actress/filmmaker Nora Armani in a response to the proliferation of violence and violent forms of storytelling. SRFF is a non-profit 501(c)3 film festival whose mission is to promote filmmakers who produce socially relevant™ film content. Over 400 films from 35 countries have been screened to date. Spokespersons of SR Socially Relevant™ Film Festival NY include Amy Goodman of Democracy Now, Erin Brockovich, Martin Sheen, Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winner Robert Schenkkan, best-selling French novelist Marc Levy, Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Award Winner Guy Davidi, American TV person and author Gretchen Carlson.
