Jonathan Glazer’s feature length film output is limited, but each of his releases show the love and dedication that he and his crew puts into each film. His latest and most impactful film to date, The Zone of Interest has quite the unique setting that demanded the most delicate handling.

We spoke with cinematographer Łukasz Żal about what went into bringing the estate that ran the Auschwitz prison camp back to life in the most peculiar of ways. The balance of the lives on both sides of the home’s garden fence could only be handled by such thoughtful minds.

In the early 90s, while at the video store with his friends who wanted to rent Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead, Matthew asked the clerk if they had any copies of Naked Lunch available. From there, he provided his voice to such publications as Den of Geek, Coming Soon, and Verbicide magazine as a film reviewer and talent interviewer.
