Mare of Easttown was a critical and commercial success than netted four Emmy awards out of 16 nominations. It will be the latest in a list of original films at Apple, a slate that includes the soon-to-be released Killer of the Flower Moon involving Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. Also on the list are The Instigators and Napoleon.
Moore most recently appeared in Jesse Eisenberg’s feature directorial debut When You Finish Saving the World. She will also soon appear in Sharper, a psychological thriller with Sebastian Stan, and in Todd Haynes’s May December with Natalie Portman. Sweeney was copiously praised for her breakout role in Euphoria, the HBO teenaged drama, earning an Emmy nomination. She is slated to appear in Sony’s Madame Web, in the Spider-Man universe.
