The nominations for the 73rd Emmy Awards were announced this morning by the Emmy-winning father-daughter duo of Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us) and Jasmine Cephas Jones (Blindspotting). The lengthy list includes a number of expected favorites as well as a few surprises and snubs.
The nomination leaders are The Crown and The Mandalorian, each tying for 24 bids, followed closely by WandaVision with 23, Saturday Night Live and The Handmaid’s Tale with 21 each and freshman comedy Ted Lasso with 20.
