The official trailer for Olivia Wilde‘s comedy “The Invite“, which stars many celebrities, has been unveiled by A24.

Angela and Joe, played by Wilde and Seth Rogen, are a couple that is facing a difficult marriage.

Their enigmatic upstairs neighbors (Edward Norton and Penelope Cruz) are invited for a dinner party, which leads to an unexpected night. Have they restarted the spark or lit the match that causes it to burn down?

Rashida Jones and Will McCormack developed the script that takes inspiration from Cesc Gay’s 2020 Spanish movie “The People Upstairs“.

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival saw the premiere of the film, which received positive reviews and became one of the most talked-about deals of the festival.

The movie is expected to be released in cinemas on June 26th. Ben Browning, Megan Ellison, and David Permute are in charge of producing.
