Director from “Ex Machina” and “Annihilation,” Alex Garland’s latest outing, “MEN” / Teaser Trailer / Starring Academy Award Nominee Jessie Buckley

After directing the FX sci-fi series “Devs,” Alex Garland returns to his latest horror film, “Men.” The film stars the Academy Award nominee Jesee Buckley (“The Lost Daughter”) in the film that she seems taking on vacation in the countryside, where something haunting around in her present.

Joining Jessie Buckley are Rory Kinnear and Paapa Essiedu. “Men” features cinematography from Rob Hardy, who shot Alex Garland’s Academy Award-nominated directorial debut film, “Ex Machina,” as well as his follow-up science-fiction horror film “Annihilation” and all episodes of “Devs.”

Synopsis 

In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears in visionary filmmaker Alex Garland’s (Ex Machina, Annihilation) feverish, shape-shifting new horror film.
