BLONDE | Official Teaser | Netflix / Starring Ana de Armas , Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody

Netflix has released a first teaser trailer for the upcoming Marilyn Monroe film, “Blonde.”  The film stars Golden Globe Nominee Ana De Armas who takes on one of the most iconic figures in the history of the movie. MPAA officially has an Nc-17 rating.

Based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates, Blonde boldly reimagines the life of one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons, Marilyn Monroe. From her volatile childhood as Norma Jeane, through her rise to stardom and romantic entanglements, Blonde blurs the lines of fact and fiction to explore the widening split between her public and private selves.

Blonde is written and directed by Andrew Dominik, based on Joyce Carol Oates’ with the same name. The project has been in development since 2012, previously Naomi Watts and Jessica Chastain were attached for the leading role. Joining de Armas are Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Bobby Cannavale, Caspar Phillipson, Toby Hus, and more.

The film is produced by Plan B Entertainment, with Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tracey Landon and Scott Robertson serving as producers.
