Following a teaser trailer a few weeks back, Netflix has dropped a brand new full trailer for their upcoming competition reality series, “Squid Game : The Challenge” based on 2022’s iconic Korean series “Squid Game”.
“Squid Game: The Challenge” will see 456 contestants from around the world battle it out through various challenges based on the Korean game show in the original series, as well as introducing some new ones. The largest cash prize in reality television history. The series was immersed in controversy after contestants required medical assistance during one of the games.
Each player will be “pushed to their limits and forced to ask themselves just how far they’ll go to win, with opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals to follow.” The show follows on from the record-breaking global success of the original “Squid Game” series which remains Netflix’s most-watched series to date.
The series is executive produced by Nicola Brown (The Garden), Tim Harcourt (Studio Lambert), John Hay (The Garden), Toni Ireland (Studio Lambert), Anna Kidd, Stephen Lambert (Studio Lambert), Louise Peet, Nia Yemoh (Studio Lambert), Stephen Yemoh (Studio Lambert).
Studio Lambert, which produces “The Traitors,” is behind “Squid Game: The Challenge.” The Series is set to drop on the service on November 22nd.
