Universal Pictures has released an official trailer for a highly anticipated horror series, Halloween Ends, which features Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode going up against Michael Myers one last time. The anticipated film is set to debut in theaters on October 14, 2022.
Halloween Ends will be directed by David Gordon Green. Joining Curtis are returning stars Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins.
In 2018, Blumhouse took on the horror franchise, from a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 film.
It featured Curtis’ return as Laurie Strode after 16 years since appearing in Rick Rosenthal’s Halloween: Resurrection. The 2018 Halloween film had gained some positive reviews from critics and satisfied some fans, with a worldwide success of grossing over $250 million, the studio immediately ordered two sequels, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends.
