The teaser trailer for ”Nuremberg,” a new historical drama film that chronicles the events that led to the war crimes trials that took place in the aftermath of World War II, has been released by Sony Pictures Classics.
The trial consisted of almost two dozen of the most crucial surviving leaders of Nazi Germany in the political, military, and economic sectors, as well as six German organizations.
Rami Malek is the lead actress of the film, which is based on Jack El-Hai’s novel ‘The Nazi and the Psychiatrist’, and she interviews Nazi prisoners to determine if they are ready to stand trial.
He is soon confronted with a dramatic psychological struggle with former Reichsmarschall Herman Göring (Russell Crowe).
Michael Shannon is portrayed as the steadfast chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson, who must ensure that the Nazi regime is held accountable for the unearthed atrocities of the Holocaust.
The film’s screenwriter, James Vanderbilt, who has worked on both “Zodiac” and “The Amazing Spider-Man,” penned and directed it, besides Crowe, Malek, the film also stars Richard E. Grant, Colin Hanks, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Lotte Verbeek, Mark O’Brien, Wrenn Schmidt, and Andreas Pietschmann.
“Nuremberg” opens in cinemas on November 7th.
