Netflix has released promotional clips for the anticipated sequel of two of its widely praised animated series for the upcoming seasons – “Blue Eye Samurai” and “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners“.

The second season of “Blue Eye Samurai” is set to debut in January, featuring a teaser that hints at Mizu’s perilous mission in London, which she encountered with Abijah Fowler (Kenneth Branagh) in the inaugural season.

Fowler is aware of the two other men that Mizu is seeking, and this makes him a vital component of her plan. Back in Japan, Akemi and Taigen encounter a menacing new shogun at Edo Castle, as Ringo starts looking for a new purpose.

The series, created and written by Amber Noizumi and Michael Green, with their executive producer roles. Meanwhile, teaser images for “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2” hint at a return to Night City, featuring a standalone narrative and a new roster of characters, distinct from the 2022 series. Ten episodes will be released on the streaming platform on October 20th.

Roman Carax takes the lead role in the new project, capturing the brutal realities of Night City’s life through his cinephile perspective. He joins Talia Yang, an independent former copo now fully integrated into Maelstrom.
