The entire trailer has been delivered for Zack Snyder‘s forthcoming dramatic film “The Last Photograph,” which was filmed in Colombia. The trailer arrives after the announcement that the movie will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13th.

Stuart Martin and Fra Fee play the lead roles in the movie, which recounts the story of an ex-DEA agent who ventures into the Andes to extract his kidnapped grandnephews and nieces, the children of his slain ambassador.

With the aid of a once-promising war photographer who has since fallen into addiction, only someone who has witnessed the kidnappers’ faces, he is resolved to find the children and discover the truth – but he soon realizes he must confront his own past.

Their exploration into the unknown sends them further and further from civilization, challenging their beliefs, as the line between reality and surrealism begins to blur over time.

The film by Snyder avoids VFX, focusing on a $10 million thriller with a tense plot, which the director has described as a meditation on life and death, embodying his personal experiences.

The script for “300” and “Rebel Moon” was penned by Kurt Johnstad, with Hans Zimmer composing the score. The title has not set a distributor or theatrical release yet.
