Actress Christina Ricci has been acting for three decades and has played a variety of roles over the course of her career. Some may recognize her from The Addams Family or Casper, parts she took on when she was a child, while others have observed her more recent work playing real-life people like Lizzie Borden and Zelda Fitzgerald in television series, with plenty more in between.
For her latest film, Here After, Ricci stars opposite theater actor Andy Karl as a gatekeeper of sorts who informs the recently-deceased Michael (Andy Karl) that he can’t move on to whatever comes next until he finds a soulmate. Ricci describes her as a “real bureaucrat who just loves rules.”
I had the chance to speak with Ricci about Here After, many of her past works, and a little preview of what’s coming next with Showtime’s Yellowjackets and The Matrix 4. You can watch the video below, along with an official summary and where to watch.
