“A Quiet Place 3” has gotten an official update from Brad Fuller, who is the franchise producer. “A Quiet Place“, which is now widely regarded as one of the top horror franchises in modern cinema, has gained a huge following since its initial release in theaters in 2018.
The film takes place in the post-apocalyptic horror film, a family is portrayed living in a world where even the slightest noise can jeopardize their safety.
The franchise received a critical reception earned it a second installment, “A Quiet Place Part II“, in 2020, and a prequel, “A Quiet Place: Day One“, in 2024. Even though there have been significant delays, an official third film that will portray Emily Blunt’s character in the first two movies is still being developed.
Fuller told The Direct during a promotional event for his upcoming film, “The Astronaut” at the SXSW that the prequel film, “A Quiet Place: Day One“, directed by Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, is not being regarded as the third installment in Blunt’s horror franchise, then he revealed that they are beginning the process of creating a proper theatrical production.
The third installment, which was first announced in 2022, has been in the process of being developed for a while now. According to Fuller, the delay was due to John Krasinski, who was both the star and director, having a busy schedule.
“So, “Day One” is not “A Quiet Place 3,” just to be clear . . . “A Quiet Place 3,” we’re starting to put it together right now. You know, when we made the first one, John [Krasinski] didn’t have a lot on his plate. He had just come off ‘The Office,’ and he wanted to be a director,” Fuller told the outlet. Fuller continued, “Now, he’s so in demand, and it’s hard to get him… He’s making a movie now, so as soon as he finishes that, hopefully, he will turn his attention to [“A Quiet Place 3“]. We all want to finish that trilogy, and I’m hopeful there’s even more “Quiet Place” movies beyond that.”
Regarding the other info about the third installment, including the cast and plot details, has yet to be announced.
