Leaked Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoiler-Filled Images Confirm Several MCU Rumors

Two new spoiler-filled images from the anticipated third entry in Tom Holland’s solo Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: No Way Home, have been leaked on social media. The photos appear to confirm several major rumors that have been circulating online about the upcoming MCU film, including the appearance of several villains, Coming Soon is reporting.

The first picture shows Holland, who’s reprising his role as the titular protagonist for the current Spider-Man trilogy’s upcoming installment, with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The two latter actors previously played incarnations of the superhero; Maguire starred in director Sam Raimi’s 2000s Spider-Man trilogy, while Garfield appeared in helmer Marc Webb’s 2010s The Amazing Spider-Man series.

It has been heavily rumored that Maguire and Garfield would be reprising their versions of the title superhero in Spider-Man: No Way Home. But the latter actor has repeatedly denied the reports that he would be playing Spider-Man again while promoting his other projects.

The second image from the film shows Charlie Cox, who’s reprising his role of Daredevil, as he sits down with Spider-Man’s alter-ego, Peter Parker. Spider-Man: No Way Home marks the actor’s first appearance as Daredevil in an MCU theatrical movie; he previously played the character on the Netflix shows, Daredevil and The Defenders.

The pictures were leaked after Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s distributor, Sony Pictures Releasing unveiled the feature’s official trailer and posters, which also show that some major changes are being made in the MCU. Like WandaVision, it has been confirmed that the series’ second sequel will also tie into the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is being directed by Raimi.

Benedict Cumberbatch will be reprising his role of Doctor Strange in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The superhero duo is expected to team up against Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, who appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 2, respectively.

The third installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy will also feature the return of most of the ensemble cast members from the first two entries. The supporting actors include Emmy winner Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson.

The distributor is set to release Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters on December 17. The follow-up is being directed by Jon Watts.
