The 30th Annual Critics Choice Awards took place on Friday night with comedian Chelsea Handler hosting the event at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, celebrating the best films and TV shows of the last year.
“Anora” won the highest award for movies, and “Emilia Pérez,” “The Substance,” and “Wicked” each won three awards. What about the popular series like “Baby Reindeer” and “Shogun,” which were both winners at the recent Golden Globes, and the lesser-known (but equally popular) “Industry” and “Slow Horses“?
The Critics Choice Association was supposed to hold the award show on Sunday, Jan. 12, but the ceremony was postponed due to the wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles in January.
