Apple TV+ has introduced the trailer for the upcoming comedy series “The Studio“, which stars Seth Rogen and is being screened as the Opening Night TV Premiere of the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival today, and it also co-creates, writes, directs, and executive produces with Emmy Award nominee Evan Goldberg.
The 10-episode comedy, which will feature Rogen and a highly talented ensemble cast with A-list cameos in each episode, will be shown globally on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 with the first two episodes and will continue with one episode every Wednesday through May 21, 2025.
The newly appointed head of Continental Studios, Matt Remick, is played by Seth Rogen in “The Studio“. Matt and his core team of infighting executives face their own insecurities as they deal with narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords while striving to make great films in the ever-elusive pursuit of staying alive and relevant.
Their power suits conceal their constant panic, and every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with the chance for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe.
Rogen stars alongside a star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders. Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins will appear as major recurring guest stars.
Hailing from Lionsgate Television, “The Studio” is created by multi-Emmy Award winners Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory along with Rogen, Goldberg and Frida Perez. Point Grey Pictures’ James Weaver, Alex McAtee and Josh Fagen also serve as executive producers alongside Rogen and Goldberg.
