A Real Bug’s Life | Official Trailer | National Geographic : Narrated by Awkwafina

Disney+ has dropped a new trailer and announced premiere dates for “A Real Bug’s Life” (narrated by Awkwafina).

The series was originally announced in 2020, it tackles into nine different microbug around the world, capturing through the innovative camera technology, where the forces of nature play out on a miniature scale and where tiny creatures rely on amazing powers and extraordinary alliances to make it through each day.

The stakes are high … even if the critters are extraordinarily small. With new developments in filming technology and narrated by fun and witty guide Awkwafina, follow the incredible stories of the tiny heroes living in worlds beyond the imagination — from a jumping spider looking for a home on the streets of New York to a Costa Rican orchid bee’s first day on the job making perfume! Full of mind-blowing new behaviors and larger-than-life characters, this family-friendly series shows that “A REAL BUG’S LIFE” can be every bit as fantastical as any animated film.

A Real Bug’s Life” explores bug worlds, the trailer features bug-on-bug violence, a spider performing a “Mission Impossible”-like leap (or perhaps Spider-Man might be more fitting) and a bug delighting in a human’s leftover hot dog.

“Bugs. Give me the scaly, the squishy, the ‘oh, she’s fluffy!,” Awkwafina says in the trailer. “These curious creatures crawl, creep and climb their way through life. I’m talking about epic tales on a miniature scale.”

Audiences will witness these incredible stories unfolding in a world beyond our imagination as we see mind-blowing new behaviors and larger-than-life characters. And just like the animated feature “A Bug’s Life fans can expect to see the themes of working together, overcoming injustice, and standing up for what you believe in.

A Real Bug’s Life” will debut early next year on January 24 on Disney+.
