“Last Flight Home” : Trailer / Director Ondi Timoner Tackles the Final Days of Her Father Eli Timoner Who Founded Air Florida

MTV Documentary Films has unveiled a new trailer of “Last Flight Home,” Ondi Timoner’s intimate film about her family’s deeply moving journey to find closure.

The trailer finds Eli Timoner in his final days and discover an extraordinary life, one filled with wild achievements, tragic loss and, above all, enduring love. His daughter Ondi shares an unforgettable and stunning verité account of a family courageously, and joyously, facing both life and death.

The film received its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and will open in New York (IFC Center) on Oct. 7 and Los Angeles (Laemmle Monica and Glendale) on Oct. 14 with other cities to follow.

Timoner’s recent movies include opioid crisis doc “Coming Clean” (2020) and the scripted feature “Mapplethorpe,” about the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe (2018).
