A24 has dropped a new trailer for its crime/drama thriller “Love Lies Bleeding” starring Oscar nominee Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian and Ed Harris.

The film centers around Lou payed by Stewart, a reclusive gym manager who gets romantically entangled with a bisexual O’Brian’s Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Las Vegas in pursuit of her dreams. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family. Ed Harris stars as Lou’s menacing father, who has been pursued by the FBI. His criminal act isn’t clear yet, but it brings a lot of trouble to his daughter and her loved one. This upcoming film also stars Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov and Dave Franco.

In the new trailer, Stewart is being questioned by an FBI agent about her dad’s whereabouts. There is a possibility that the pair has something to do with a blindfolded individual who fell into a blood-tinted ravine. Katy O’Brian enters the picture as Stewart’s bodybuilding love interest who has the fortitude to tolerate her girlfriend’s unfortunate mullet.

Rose Glass (Saint Maud) directs from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. Daniel Battsek, David Kimbangi, Susan Kirr, and Ollie Madden executive produce. O’Brian last appeared on The Mandalorian and in last year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Stewart last starred in 2022’s Crimes of the Future and 2021’s Princess Diana film Spencer. And in addition to “Love Lies Bleeding,” Stewart also appears in the upcoming “Love Me,” which will debut in the U.S. Dramatic Competition section of Sundance. Stewart will also be making her feature Directorial debut with the adaptation of memoir “The Chronology of Water” starring Imogen Poots; Ridley Scott will produce the film. The Oscar-nominated actress will be honored with the Visionary Award during the Opening Night gala.

The film is set to have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month and will be followed by a theatrical release on March 8th 2024.
