Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness | Official Teaser

Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After the events of Spider-Man : No Way Home, where Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) tampers with space-time when making the world forget about Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) secret identity, the Multiverse is unleashed.

In the aftermath of Marvel Studios series WandaVision and Loki, the Master of the Mystic Arts and Wong (Benedict Wong) — It seems that Strange join forces with the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) to defeat what the sorcerer hunter Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) calls the greatest threat to their universe: Stephen Strange.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the follow up to Scott Derrickson’s 2016 movie, Doctor Strange, which introduced Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange. The character has since appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and the recently released Spider-Man : No Way Home. The sequel is directed by Sam Raimi and set to hit theaters in May 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theaters on May 6.
