The Last of Us | Official Teaser | HBO Max : Starring Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey

HBO have released the first official trailer from the upcoming TV series adaptation of developer Naughty Dog’s acclaimed game “The Last of Us”.

Based on the critically acclaimed video game “The Last of Us,” developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation® platforms, the story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival. 

The action centers on Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor who is hired to smuggle a girl named Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of an oppressive quarantine zone. The seemingly small job becomes a brutal journey as they come to depend on each other for survival.

Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin serve as Co-Creators, Executive Producers, Writers and Directors. Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Rose Lam are Executive Producers. 

Kantemir Balagov, Jasmila Žbanić, Ali Abbasi, Peter Hoar, Jeremy Webb, and Liza Johnson are Directors. 

THE LAST OF US is a co-production With Sony Pictures Television. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog produce. Ashley Johnson is represented by Innovative Artists and Anonymous Content. Troy Baker is represented by DPN Talent.
