In 2021, Michael Sarnoski directed the Nicolas Cage thriller, Pig, and he’s back now with the sci-fi thriller, A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel to the blockbuster John Krasinski movies from 2018 and 2021.
A Quiet Place: Day One stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) as Samira, a young woman on a field trip into New York City with her support cat, just as aliens land and begin to attack anything that makes a sound. Eventually, Samira encounters Joseph Quinn’s Eric, a British businessman, and the two of them travel across the city on a mission, along with Samira’s cat. The film also stars Djimon Hounsou (whose character first appeared in A Quiet Place Part II) and Alex Wolff.
