Actors Logan Marshall-Green, Mehead Brooks, and Jonathan Cake will be returning as guest stars in season 3 of Max’s And Just Like That, according to the producers. And Season 2 guest stars Sebastiano Pigazzi and Dolly Wells have been promoted to regulars in the series, a sequel to Sex and the City, the popular production that followed the romantic liaisons of friends in the New York City of the 1950s.
Comedian Rosie O’Donnell had earlier announced that she would be joining the cast as a character named Mary.
It’s also been revealed that neither Sara Ramirez nor Karen Pittman will be returning to the cast for the third season. Pittman had played the part of Che Diaz, a controversial standup comedian.
In the upcoming Season 3, Pigazzi will play the part of Giuseppe, who is dating Anthony, played by Mario Cantone. Wells will appear as Joy, a friend of Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon. Details about the character assignments for Marshall-Green, Brooks, and Cake have not yet been announced.
Logan Marshall-Green had recently appeared on the big screen in Upgrade and Spider-Man: Homecoming. His television roles have included Big Sky, Damnation, The O.C., and When They See Us.
Mehead Brooks is known for his portrayal of detective Jalen Shaw in several of the Law & Order episodes. He also appeared in two Mortal Kombat episodes as well as Desperate Housewives and Necessary Roughness.
Jonathan Cake has been acclaimed for his role of detective Chuck Vance in Desperate Housewives and for his work on The Affair, Camping, and Mosley.
Other cast members in And Just Like That include Cathy Aug, Sarita Choudhury, John Corbett, Niall Cunningham, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Nicole Art Parker, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Alexa Swinton.
Shooting for Season 3 of And Just Like That is now underway in New York City.
