‘The Order’ – Exclusive Video Interview with Jude Law

With over 35 years as an actor and two Oscar nominations under his belt, actor Jude Law has seemingly done everything, so taking on the role of FBI agent Terry Husk in The Order, the new period crime film from Australian filmmaker Justin Kurzel, is an interesting choice for sure.

In the ‘80s, a series of crimes in the Pacific Northwest ended up being investigated by the FBI, leading to a domestic terrorist plot by a White Supremacist group led by Nicholas Hoult’s Bob Mathews. Playing a law enforcement officer, and a flawed one at that, is a very different role for Law, though he brings the same dedication and weight to the role as everything he’s done previously.

Cinema Daily US had a chance to speak with Mr. Law for a quick Zoom interview that you can watch above, where we discussed what’s involved with him playing his first law enforcement, and we touched briefly on Law’s next gig, appearing in a film directed by the great Ron Howard.

The Order will open nationwide on Friday, December 6. Look for Cinema Daily US’ interview with filmmaker Justin Kurzel later this week.
