Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for the third and final part of the sixth and final season of its celebrated The Karate Kid spin-off Cobra Kai. The final five episodes will be released on February 13th, following the first two batches released this year in July and November respectively.
And no one is prepared for what lies ahead. The emotional roller coaster is accompanied by a sweet tribute to the past and a celebration of the present and future. The series finale reveals the final components of a successful IP expansion that provides fans with what they want while keeping the source material’s essence intact.
After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.”
The series is written by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. Heald, Hurwitz, and Schlossberg also executive produce the series alongside Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, Susan Ekins, Ralph Macchio, and William Zabka.
Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Mariduena, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, and Gianni DeCenzo star.
Macchio will also pop up in his role for the next The Karate Kid film due out early next Summer.
