Sony Pictures Classics has revealed the entire trailer for “Nuremberg,” a new historical drama film that explores the circumstances leading up to the war crimes trials that occurred in the aftermath of World War II.

Rami Malek plays a psychiatrist who interviews Nazi prisoners to assess their readiness for trial in this film, which is based on Jack El-Hai’s novel ‘The Nazi and the Psychiatrist’. He is soon forced into a dramatic psychological battle with former Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe). Michael Shannon’s portrayal of Robert H. Jackson, the unyielding chief prosecutor, is crucial in ensuring that the Nazi regime is held accountable for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust.

The trial involved nearly twenty-five of the most important surviving leaders of Nazi Germany, as well as six German organizations.

James Vanderbilt, who wrote “Zodiac” and “The Amazing Spider-Man“, wrote and directed the film, which also stars Richard E. Grant, Colin Hanks, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Lotte Verbeek, Mark O’Brien, Wrenn Schmidt, and Andreas Pietschmann.

“Nuremberg” opens in cinemas on November 7th.
