HBO Max has released a two-minute trailer for their new series “IT: Welcome to Derry” in the weeks that follow the premiere episode.
HBO has announced that it will release the second episode early on the HBO Max streaming service this Friday for Halloween festivities. As usual, the second episode will be aired in its usual Sunday slot on HBO. Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso star, while Bill Skarsgård is reprising his role as Pennywise from the first two films.
Andy Muschietti, the director of the films, worked with Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs to develop the series. Four episodes of the series are being directed by him while Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane are the showrunners. Skarsg rd, David Coatsworth, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin are all members of the executive producer team.
The eight-episode series airs weekly, through until December 14th.
