The 2026 Oscar nominees are led by “Sinners” with 16 nominations, including best picture, best director, and best original screenplay.
The nominees are divided into “One Battle After Another,” which has 13 nominations, “Frankenstein“, “Marty Supreme“, and “Sentimental Value“, which have each received nine nominations. The best picture award is up for grabs for all five of those films, as well as “Bugonia“, “F1“, “Hamnet“, “The Secret Agent“, and “Train Dreams“.
“Wicked: For Good” was completely shut out, but Delroy Lindo and Kate Hudson were surprised to score norms.
Warner Bros. landed the most noms with 30 (including those for “Sinners“ and “One Battle After Another“), followed by Neon with 18 (including “The Secret Agent” and “Sentimental Value“) and Netflix with 16 (including “Frankenstein“ and “Train Dreams“).
