There were rumors that Daniel Craig was offered the crucial role of Christopher Dent in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman: Part II“. If Craig turns it down, Liam Neeson would take the role.
The character is believed to be the father of Harvey Dent. The offer was initially given to Brad Pitt and Stellan Skarsgard, but neither actor accepted. According to World of Reel, Craig, who is currently in charge of the prison-set movie with Cillian Murphy and Michelle Williams, has passed as well.
According to the site, they have received information that the film will feature District Attorney Harvey Dent (Sebastian Stan), Commissioner James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), and Batman/Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) working together in an awkward alliance to thwart a serial killer and the city’s powerful mafia organization
The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, and presumably Barry Keoghan. Filming on “The Batman: Part II” is expected to kick off in the last week of May in London.
