A new trailer for “Couture” has been released by Vertical, which is scheduled for release in theaters on June 26th.

Angelina Jolie plays as Maxine, an American filmmaker, comes to Paris during the frenzy of Fashion Week.  Maxine’s relationship with a familiar collaborator leads her to a deeply personal journey of self-discovery that forces her to face the choices that have shaped her life, as she intersects with women of different ages and cultural backgrounds.

Besides Jolie, the film also stars Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, and Garance Marillier co-dtar in the film which is written and directed by Alice Winocour (“Proxima,” “Paris Memories”).

Jolie previously talked about the film, and she mentioned that films about women’s struggles, particularly cancer, tend to talk about endings and sadness, and rarely about life. Alice has made a film about life, and that’s why the sensitive subjects it touches are handled with such delicacy.
